WHAT VISITORS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT US

 
Although the weather put paid to our full day experience, Allan 
                           and Allison made us most welcome with home made mince pies and 
             tea. We were invited to study the birds being weighed and were able to
                          experience the thrill of handling and flying them.
A visit here is a must and we are looking forward to our full day.

I just wanted to send a note to you to say thank you so much for
                          the morning we spent with you on the 14th for my Dad's70th
                           birthday.  He was absolutely overwhelmed by the birds and 
                           enjoyed the morning immensely (as did my Mum and I!). 

We have some great photos (tons in fact!) and it was a joy to be so close to the birds throughout the time with you.
The walk around the grounds with Bob and Guinness was brilliant, I loved that as much as Dad did! Once again, thanks from all of us for a marvellous day and a birthday present my Dad will never forget.

We had a full day experience for my Dad's birthday and it was an amazing day.
We didn't realise how much handling of the birds we could do, and that it would only be the two of us, which was fantastic. 
The best bits for me were the barn owls and the
afternoon walk with Alfie and Jordan (hawks!).
I'm recommending it to all my friends and we'll be going again.

I could say WOW a million times and it still wouldn't come close to describing the amazing experience i had at Mere Down Falconry. Allan, Alison and James made it a real dream come true. They took the time to answer every question (even the daft
ones) and obviously love all the birds in their care.
It was fantastic to see all the birds free in their enclosures and not tied down to posts. 
There are no words to describe the elation I felt seeing and handling the Birds.
I have been on a high and boring all my friends to tears since.

All the birds are amazing but my favourite was Bond!!

This was the second year my daughter Ruth treated me to a visit for my birthday. I’m still not sure who enjoys it more, me or her; but I get the added bonus of watching the delight on her face. By the way, Ruth’s decided this is going to be my birthday present every year in future.

Our walk over the top of the hill with Molly was just spectacular and Whisper and Peace will always be Ruth’s favourites.

Once again, thanks from both of us for sharing your birds with us and the pleasure of your company.

How lucky you are to take such obvious delight in every aspect of what is now your livelihood.

I wanted to contact you to say thanks once again for the fantastic day I had with the birds and yourself, the different characters all the birds have is amazing. The walk with Molly and Bo was wonderful, watching Molly swoop down the hillside to my fist time and again is a sight I will never forget.

Anyone with an interest in wildlife should experience this at least once, if I could have a Groundhog day this was it! There is no doubt that I will visit again.
